New Single: Surrender

This song was inspired by someone in my life who I ached to have in my arms but with whom I knew I could have no expectations. In writing this song I hoped that it can share the beauty of the energy that I felt, even if I could only continue on with our connection in thought.

New Single: Oscuro y claro

I had to grow into this song. It started with the bassline and morphed into its current state over nearly a decade. The lyrics represent my duality, accepting myself, the dark and the light, the good and the bad.

New Single: Reflection of you

Written for my father Carlos Peñaloza. The song is a combination of bitter sweetness and sweetness as I describe how I felt missing him there during my childhood but now as an adult I understand and see how much I reflect him despite the past.

Lyrics

oh

ohh

ehhh

I hope that you find peace

I’m sorry that we didn’t have

Sorry, dad

We didn’t have those days together

For so many years, I resented you

My memories are clouded, and I still work through the pain

I am a reflection of yo–u – Reflection of you

Through and through, I am you, that’s the truth

I reflect you

I know you were confused

But you were well intentioned

You didn’t know

But life has taught you better

I see how you have grown

But your conscience won’t let you be

Can you hear me (can you hear me)

I can help you now give me your hand

I am a reflection of yo–u  – Reflection of you

Through and through, I am you, that’s the truth

I reflect you

I am a reflection of you – Reflection of you

The good and the bad

The happy and sad (that’s the truth)

I wouldn’t change anything

I reflect you

My heart is on the mend

Now that we can be friends

I will forgive, never forget

We can be friends

we can be friends

we can be friends

I am a reflection of you – Reflection of you

Through and through, I am you, that’s the truth

I reflect you

I am a reflection of you – Reflection of you

The good and the bad

The happy and sad

I wouldn’t change anything

(The good and the bad, happy and sad)

The good and the bad, the happy and sad

(I wouldn’t change anything)

I wouldn’t change anything

(The good and the bad, happy and sad)

the good and the bad, happy and sad

I wouldn’t change anything

I am a reflection of you – Reflection of you

that’s the truth yes

I reflect you

New Single: Cuando te voy a volver a ver

“Cuando te voy a volver a ver” is a Latin folk song with a sweet message – “when will I see you again?” of love for the people, brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers, family and friends, who may be far but whom you hold close in your heart.
