New Single: Madre Tierra

Happy Earth Day! Feliz dia de la Tierra! My new track “Madre Tierra” (Mother Earth) is a tribute to the magnificence of the World, sung in Spanish with a few words in Quechua, an indigenous language spoken throughout South America. I was inspired by the complex, nuanced lyrics and theme of the anthemic song “Latinoamérica” (Calle 13), written by René Perez Joglar now known as Residente @residente together with Eduardo Cabra and Rafael Ignacio Aracaute. Instead of speaking about Latin America, its people and environment, the song’s imagery is focused on the natural world as a whole.
